Add PayPal - If you didn't do it during the registration process, adding your PayPal registered email address to your iBootSale account will make the iBootSale experience much easier.

As a seller, buyers can automatically send you payment for items. As a buyer the item buying process is easier. Purchasing iBootSale pitches is an instant process when your PayPal address is registered with us.

Add a descriptive name and description! - This sounds obvious but far too many seller miss it. The more accurate you make the name and description the more chance buyers have of finding your item. This is especially important with the item name, as all listing are included in Froogle and all major search engines. The better the description the more potential buyers will see it!

Create a 'Pitch Photo' - Whether you use the Automatically created pitch photo feature or take a photo yourself of the items you sell, a pitch photo is the best way to draw attention to your pitch.
Please Note: Using a logo or irrelevant image as a pitch photo is against iBootSale T&Cs and could result in non-refundable pitch removal.

Add an image! - It may sound obvious but you are much much more likely to make a quick sale if potential buyers can see the item. Even for simple items an image provides added buyer confidence in the seller. (indicates seller physically has item to sell).

Post your item in the lowest possible sub-category - The top level categories display all items within lower sub-categories. So your item will not only be displayed on the listed category but also all upper categories as well. If you have items currently listed that would be better in a new category you can change this within your pitch (or from the actual item page when logged in).

For example; If you posted you item in 'Clothes, Shoes, etc' it would only appear under that category for browsing buyers. If you posted the item in 'Menswear' (a sub-category of Clothes, Shoes, etc). Your item will appear in both 'Menswear' and 'Clothes, Shoes,...'.

Add Payment Notes - Under 'Update Profile' you can add Payment Notes, that are displayed to all buyers on the 'Pay' page. This is especially useful for adding your address for offline payments or any other details you may need to give the buyer.

Add Payment Types - Within 'Update Profile' you can added the required details for each available payment type. This information is displayed to buyers when paying for your items.
